About Us
Director Michelle Schwartz graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences from The Ohio State University in 1994, and a Master of Science in Communication Disorders from The Pennsylvania State University in 1996. She is state licensed in Virginia and has the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).
Michelle began her speech and language pathology career working in acute and subacute care in hospitals and rehabilitation centers where she worked primarily with adults. In 1998, she had the opportunity to work with children in the public schools and in early intervention. She has continued to work with the pediatric population in a variety of settings.
Michelle has worked in private practice since 2001. In 2002, she began serving clients in the office, at home, and in private schools/day cares in Western Fairfax and Eastern Loudoun Counties.
Michelle works with children with a variety of speech, language and oral motor/swallowing delays and disorders including expressive and receptive language, pervasive developmental disorder and autism, articulation and phonological processing, apraxia, oral motor, literacy, auditory processing, voice, and fluency/stuttering.

All service providers are state licensed in Speech Language Pathology by the Commonwealth of Virginia, hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from, and are members of, the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. They are dedicated to providing high quality speech and language services to children and their families.
