Early Signs and Symptoms:
- Word retrieval difficulties
- Difficulty naming objects or talking around subjects with lack of the appropriate vocabulary
- Dysnomia (misnaming items)
- Difficulty acquiring syntax (the rules of grammar)
- Difficulties with morphology (changes in verb tense)
- Difficulty with semantics (word meaning)
